Dustin and Katherine Ray are the owners of United Country Real Estate | 1836 Realty Group. They are principled leaders and extremely passionate about helping their clients sell and buy premier real estate in Texas, including ranches, commercial properties and residential properties.

Both Dustin and Katherine run the everyday operations of the company, with Katherine focussing on public relations and Dustin focussing on client relations. Together they work hard to position the company’s clients and real estate agents to achieve unparalleled success. Their commitment to serving others is the guiding principle for their lives, which includes managing their company.

They regularly monitor the latest industry, economic and marketing trends to ensure the company is making data-driven decisions to compete at the highest levels in real estate. Together their professional and personal networks are far reaching and a huge value to their clients.

Dustin is the broker of the company and has been licensed for more than a decade. He has earned a stellar reputation in his community, the trust of his clients, and respect of his colleagues (here and nationwide) because of his character, industry expertise and competitive nature that constantly elevates his impact across all real estate markets. Dustin’s keen business instincts and genuine care for his clients have helped him close countless deals over his career—and he has been recognized time and again for his accomplishments. He serves on the steering committee for UC Ranch Properties, a premier ranch division of UCRE representing the most desirable ranches nationwide and the exceptional clients who list and buy them. As an Air Force veteran, Dustin has successfully applied the principles of discipline, leadership and perseverance to the business of real estate, which continue to benefit the company’s clients today.

Katherine utilizes the latest and most effective marketing strategies to bolster the company’s reach and reputation across all real estate disciplines. She does this by leveraging the professional leadership experience and public relations expertise she gained over a 15-year career working for then-Governor Rick Perry and the Texas Department of Public Safety. She has an unwavering work ethic, a heart for helping others and a love for the Lone Star State, all of which make company ownership in the Texas real estate industry both fitting and rewarding. Katherine is also a proud LSU alum, especially in the fall.

Dustin and Katherine live with their daughter in Boerne, Texas, where they enjoy exploring the outdoors together, fishing, hunting, school and sporting events, and living a life full of joy and purpose. Being married to each other and raising their sweet girl are God’s greatest gifts to Dustin and Katherine. The Rays are leaders and members of Grace Avenue Church in San Antonio, and they credit every opportunity and success they’ve had in their lives to God’s grace alone.
